How to burn belly fat

by Adam Legas

Most people want a tight and toned stomach. Six pack abs are something that all the guys seem to want.
Girls want flat, toned abs too!
So, lots of people ask me the best way to get a "6-pack." At my age (almost 47), it's harder than it used to be.

The answer is pretty simple, but not easy!

There are stupid machines that promise you a ripped stomach by just wearing some battery powered muscle stimulator around your gut.
I PROMISE you that this WILL NOT WORK!
Anything that takes no self control or hard work, or can be done in "less than 5 minutes a day" is not going to work.
In fact, you could even do an hour a day of sit-ups and crunches and still see almost no difference.

The problem with belly fat, is that it doesn't disappear just because you have strong abs. Abs are mostly a result of low body fat. So the most effective way to get abs is to lose body fat.

I've said this many times, but the most effective way to burn fat throughout the day is to lift weights.
The bigger muscles you work, the more fat you burn. These are some of the biggest muscles and body parts you should focus on, if you want a lean, flat stomach.
-Upper legs
-Butt
-Back
-Chest

I know I sound like a broken record, but lifting, along with high intensity cardiovascular training is the fastest way to get great abs. When you work larger muscle groups, you boost your metabolism to levels you've never reached, and burn more calories at rest than ever before.
Your muscles need extra calories to maintain themselves, so more of the food you eat will be feeding your muscles instead of becoming body fat. A strong heart, that you get from intense interval training, is more effective at burning calories as well, so you have a perfect fat burning combo.

The only way to remove fat from a single spot is through liposuction. There is no such thing as toning one specific area. As the fat comes off your whole body, it will come off your belly. Genetics is the biggest determining factor of what part of your body gets lean the fastest. For me, I get lean legs first, and my belly fat is the last to go.

In my opinion the best reason to work your abs is to stabilize your core and prevent injuries, especially back pain. Abs are what stabilize your body in everything you do, so strong abs are very important.
For this reason, I like to do abs at the end of my workout. I want my abs strong and fresh to help me push hard on all my other lifts.

But the most important thing you need to change to get flat abs is your diet.
There are lots of fad diets that actually work. However, the most simple thing I've found is this:
-Eat 4 to 5 small meals
-Have lean protein with every meal
-Cut out simple sugars and starches

If you will do these things, I promise you, you will burn fat and you will get a flatter stomach. And if you really work hard, you will even achieve a nice six pack.

The way NanoHydr8 helps you with this is because it fuels your body with exactly what it needs for weight training and endurance training. I have gotten much leaner, just because I am able to push myself harder in my workouts.
